Times are tense. The news is filled with companies laying off and even so called safe state and county jobs aren’t looking so safe anymore. It’s enough to keep you tense. I waited until I got back from a business trip to New York to try this out. And I definitely needed it I was delayed for two hours at the airport and my skin was dried out from the plane ride. So I pulled out the kit and got ready to pamper myself. This kit contains Dead Sea Liquid salt, Body Sorbet Caress, Purifying Mud Mask, and Dead Sea Mineral Mud all in cute quilted paisley train-case. All products are dermatologically tested and safe for those of you with sensitive skin.

I started with the Dead Sea Liquid Salt to cleanse. What I expected was a scrub since it contained salt. But it didn’t. It was a cleanser that clung to the skin, didn’t lather up much so you wonder if your getting clean but then on the flip side it doesn’t dry out your skin with harsh detergents. It also contains 32% Dead Sea Minerals to help detoxify your skin

My next step was to apply the Energizing Dead Sea Mud Mask all over my body except my face. The mud was easy to apply, it was a bit drippy but washed away easily. I let it sit for about five minutes and then rinsed it away. It also contained essential oils of Cedarwood & Mandarin. Now when I think of Cedarwood I think of something a bit pungent but with Mandarin the scent wasn’t overwhelming at all. The mask contains Dunalliella seaweed that will replenish tired and dull skin.

After getting out of the shower I applied the Body Sorbet Caress. This formula has the appearance of a lotion but rubs in like a gel providing great coverage. The sorbet melts effortlessly into the skin. Along with Dead Sea minerals it contains Aloe Vera leaf juice, chamomile extract and vitamins E & B5.

The overall effect of using the products was very soft & smooth skin. Use before a special occasion if you plan on getting touched or just to unwind from a hectic day.

Review:Perlier Milk & Vanilla Bath and Body Duo | “Faces of Beautiful You Episode 3:Bath Bubble Bandit”

Perlier is the number one cosmetic company in Italy. For over eighty years they have formulated products that are derived from natural ingredients. Perlier’s approach has been to not focus on hype but producing products that perform.

I was sent the Milk & Fruit Bath and Body Duo in Vanilla. The vanilla scent is not the super sweet candy vanilla you can sometimes get in products but it’s more of a sophisticated vanilla almost like the smell of vanilla extract.

Perlier Milk& Fruit Bath Mousse comes in a cute little retro milk bottle that is 16.9 ounces. The consistency is not too runny and not too thick. It foams up quite nicely in the shower and pampers the skin in a moisturizing foam that won’t dry your skin out thanks to the milk protein. In fact the lactic acid provides a nice mild exfoliation. I also used it as a bubble bath in the tub and it made big foamy bubbles with a very nice vanilla scent. I really wanted to put this shower cream to the test so after my bath I did not moisturize at all. That’s right no lotion, no body butter just to see how my skin would react. Surprisingly enough my skin wasn’t dry, itchy or tight the next morning. O.k. I was a bit ashy but that was to be expected.

The body mousse moisturizer is almost like a body butter but not as dense or oily. It’s light and airy but moisturizes through and through. It’s light enough to be used everywhere even your face. I love the fact that it comes in a 17.6 ounce container which gives you enough to last a while.
