5 Spring Clothing Trends Under $100

Spring fashions bring to mind everything that is carefree. From crisp white linens to maxi dresses to fabrics that flow. When updating your wardrobe this season keep in mind that comfort is king but keep the look up to date by adding a few of these trends. 1.Peasant Tops

Back from the 80’s is the peasant top. This top with it’s empire waist is perfect you’re trying to camouflage a little tummy. 2.Full Skirts

This season it’s all about femininity and full skirts are perfect if you feel like showing off your more lady-like side. It’s the perfect piece to have in your closet no matter your body type.

3.Bold Prints

This seasons prints are where its at. And I mean all kinds of prints small, big, mod, ethnic and animal. The key to wearing prints is the smaller you are the smaller the print. 4.White Pants

Spring and summer are perfect for a pair of crisp white pants. And that old Southern adage about wearing white only certain parts of the year is tired; you can wear white anytime of the year. But remember to pick a style that works for your shape.

5.Wide leg Pants

The pants are wide this season. No more skinny jeans for now. Wide leg pants are sophisticated and can be worn a multitude of ways to achieve many looks. Best of all wide leg pants can make you look long and lean. The fact that they’re full in the thigh helps us girls with thick or muscular thighs look like you have legs a mile long.     I like your choices. That floral print pleated skirt is cute!! Have you heard of Toyota’s If Looks Could Kill? I work with them, and since you know style - I’m excited to spread awareness of these thrilling, new webisodes that follow an aspiring fashion designer, Bianca, who’s involved in international espionage by night. If you’re familiar with the BMW shorts from a couple of years ago (Guy Ritchie, Madonna), these webisodes definitely have a similar production level.

    Interactive: Toyota has gone one step further, the viewer can interact with Bianca to help her unravel the mystery that has suddenly become her life. I really enjoy the multiple levels; it adds a dimension of reality to the story and builds a unique relationship between the main character and viewer.

    Launch party: We have our official launch party the 11th @ Eyebeam in NYC— with performances by Ashanti, Janelle Monae and Anthony Hamilton. Tyra Banks is also on the guest list!

    I’d really love your take on the first episode—Haute Pursuit—and discuss more as the other episodes roll-out. Myself, I’m still trying to figure out who the bad guy is—the ex, the boyfriend, the boss? Or maybe it’s Nana? lol

    I went to check out iflookscouldkill and I’m really surprised at how good it is. Bianca Turner is da bomb - intelligent, driven and not afraid to run in high heels! She is runnin’ things! I will definitely tune in to see how things go for her. Who is the actress that plays her? She looks familiar.

    that actress playing Bianca on iflookscouldkill.com is Femi Emiola. She used to play Lani on Wicked Wicked Games (which was a great show, so sad it ended).

    I’ve seen the first ep of “IfLooksCouldKill.com” and Femi Emiola as Bianca Turner is great! The show is really interesting, television quality and the game is fun!
