USAGE

Apply as much gel as desire for instant and even bronzing. Avoid eyebrows, hairline and delicate eye area. Wash your hand thoroughly after application. Wait a few minutes to mke sure Insta Glow is completely dry before dressing.

Yes, It is designed to work with all skin tones and a broad range of skin types.

IS INSTAGLOW SUITABLE FOR EVERYONE?
Instaglow was developed for adults. Nu Skin has not conducted any testing on children or minors and, therefore, cannot provide any recommendation regarding the use of Insta Glow on children. Please consult your healthcare provider before using Insta Glow on a minor.

CAN I USE IT ON MY FACE?
Yes, you can use on your face. Insta Glow gel is low-odor and absorbs quickly, you can easily add a sun-kissed glow to your complexion. When using Insta Glow on your face, it is best to avoid the sensitive skin around your eyes.

HOW OFTEN CAN I APPLY INSTA GLOW?
Because the formula delivers an instant bronze, during application you can use as much product as needed to reach the depth of color you are trying to achieve. Afterward, you can maintain your tan by using Insta Glow as often as needed.

HOW LONG WILL MY INSTA GLOW TAN LAST?
After one application, your tan should last about 3 days on your face and 4 days on your body. Please note this depends on how much product you’ve applied, how well you’ve exfoliated prior to application, and on the types of cleansers you use on your face and body.

HOW QUICKLY WILL I NOTICE A DIFFERENCE IN MY SKIN’S COLOR?
Because Insta Glow is a tinted gel, you may notice a difference within 15 minutes after applying the product. However, depending on your natural skin color and the amount of product you’ve applied, it will typically take between 30 minutes and 1 hour for you to notice a difference in your skin’s color.

The maximum darkening with DHA (or dihydroxyacetone) will then take 8 to 24 hours.

WHY DOES SUNRIGHT INSTA-GLOW TEND TO LAST LONGER ON THE BODY THAN THE FACE?
Sunless tanners, like Sunright Insta Glow, use dihydroxyacetone (or DHA), which interacts with the proteins in the outermost layer of the skin. This is the layer of skin that is constantly shedding.

Therefore, the tan will shed with it. Facial skin is more prone to physical abrasion or exfoliation through frequent washing. This can result in the tan fading more quickly on the face than other areas of the body that are not exposed to these conditions.

DO I STILL NEED TO USE SUNSCREEN AFTER USING INSTA-GLOW?
Yes, you should always use a sunscreen product when spending time outside. After Insta Glow has dried completely, use Sun-right SPF 35 or Sunright SPF 50 to protect your skin from the sun’s harmful rays.

CAN I USE INSTAGLOW TO MOISTURIZE MY SKIN, OR DO I NEED TO USE A SEPARATE MOISTURIZER?
Although Insta Glow contains ingredients that help hydrate skin, you should use an additional moisturizer, such as Perennial® Intense Body Moisturizer, as your daily moisturizer. Using moisturizers regularly will ensure your skin stays hydrated and can help prolong your Insta Glow tan.

These products should be applied after Insta Glow has fully dried to prevent streaking.

SHOULD I USE INSTAGLOW AS PART OF MY MORNING OR EVENING SKIN CARE ROUTINE?
Insta Glow’s fast and easy application makes it great for any time of day. Apply Insta Glow to clean, exfoliated skin. To get the full benefits of using Insta Glow on your face, wait until the product is fully dried before finishing with your regular treatment and moisturizer.

WHAT CONTRIBUTES TO THE IMMEDIATE COLOR AND SHIMMER OF THE SKIN WHEN SUNRIGHT INSTA-GLOW IS APPLIED?
While DHA provides the lasting color, it tends to take some time to interact with the skin. Sunright Insta Glow is also formulated with different natural colorants (mica and iron oxides), which provide an immediate bronze and shimmer to the skin.

WHY DO MOST SUNLESS TANNERS CAUSE AN ORANGE TINGE TO THE SKIN, BUT THIS ONE DOESN’T?
Insta Glow focuses on giving users a lighter bronze and not the “sitting at the beach all week” tan. This is accomplished through the topical bronzing ingredients that provide a beautiful immediate tan color, and through the use of low levels of DHA.

WHAT DIFFERENTIATES INSTAGLOW FROM OTHER SUNLESS TANNERS?
It is differentiated by three things: low-odor DHA, no streaking, and instant, visible color for a more even sun-kissed tan.

WHAT DOES it SMELL LIKE?
It does not have a fragrance. It uses low-odor DHA, but some users may pick up on its mild scent or other base ingredients.

WHY DO I NEED TO EXFOLIATE FIRST?
Exfoliating beforehand is a crucial part of Insta Glow application. Exfoliation removes the dead skin from your body to make sure your sunless tan looks more fresh, natural, and last longer. Pay attention to the parts of the body that tends to be drier than others (knees, elbows, feet, etc.).

HOW DEEP IN THE SKIN DOES THE TAN GO? (WHICH LAYERS OF SKIN)
The ingredients combine with the amino acids on the stratum corneum, which only includes the outermost layers of the epidermis.

DO I NEED TO WAIT TO SHOWER/BATHE FOR A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF TIME AFTER APPLYING?
The longer the DHA is in contact with the skin, the better the effect. The recommended time to wait is 4-8 hours. The ideal situation would be to apply Instaglow immediately after a shower to give a longer timespan before showering/bathing. The maximum darkening will take 8 to 24 hours for full effect.

WHAT IF I WANT TO TAKE IT OFF?
Once the product has been applied and the DHA has reacted with the skin, it cannot be removed until the skin is sloughed off. Exfoliating your skin more frequently will wear away Insta Glow faster.

ABOUT HOW MANY APPLICATIONS ARE AVAILABLE IN ONE TUBE?
If applying to the face with an average amount, there are about 150 applications in one tube. If applying to the legs with an average amount, the tube allows approximately 17 individual applications.

CAN INSTAGLOW BE USED ON PREGNANT WOMEN?
Nu Skin products are carefully formulated to be safe and effective. Our skin care products do not contain any ingredients considered unsafe, when used as directed. However, when pregnant we would always recommend consulting first with your OB/physician.
